With the April alpha test for cozy solarpunk MMO Loftia in its rear view mirror, the devs at Qloud Games have resurfaced to share what its been up to over the past few months. And as one might expect, that’s been mostly focused on assessing and acting on tester feedback.
Overall the latest closed alpha was an apparent success, with an infographic noting 97% of players said they had fun and that many of its core systems were well received, though it also pointed out that quest clarity, a better map, and improvements to several parts of the game’s UI were pain points among testers. That means that a large part of what’s been worked on by the devs are working on a “major overhaul” to its UI over the course of testing and beyond.
In addition to UI matters, Qloud has been busy putting together some new hairstyles and outfits, several additional food recipes, a wide array of new garden props, and the creation of the game’s new Salvaging District. Unfortunately clear details on what’s waiting in this new area weren’t shared – the images from design and ideation boards were literally blurred out – but progress on what next does appear to continue.
