The resurrection of Blue Protocol as Blue Protocol: Star Resonance might seem like a strange arc for any MMORPG, but now MMO players are getting more info thanks to an IGN-published Q&A between the Blue Protocol Database fansite and the head of Tencent’s Shanghai Bokura Network Technology, all focused on the western version of the game with questions from the community.
According to the Q&A, this is going to be a core MMORPG title with a PvE battle focus mixed with casual gameplay, including other potential features in the future. Players can take on 5-player dungeons and 20-player raids at the endgame to make the core PvE experience feel complete, with a regular stream of fresh modes.
On the casual side, you’ll get to build a house, fish, enjoy seasonal events, and engage in a number of different lifeskill-based activities. So it doesn’t sound like it’s going to have a lot to offer PvP fans or crafters, necessarily, but it definitely seems like it’s worth considering. Check out the full interview for more information like how the game is meant to focus on core characters instead of alts and more details on upcoming classes and cosmetics.
