It’s just about time for Blaugust 2025, a time for the MMO blogging community – and people who want to join or rejoin the MMO blogging community – to come together and encourage one another to post, respond to posts, and offer cross-promotion. Normally, this is a movement spearheaded by Belghast from Tales of the Aggronaut, but this year he’s had to step back for reasons of personal tragedy (and our heart goes out to him). But the community isn’t about to abandon the project, so numerous participants are coming together to ensure that Blaugust keeps on keepin’ on for the 12th year of operation.

As always, participants are asked simply to blog on a regular basis, with special community awards for newbie bloggers, those who help boost the community, legacy participants, and hitting milestones along the way. Creators can look forward to joining the Blaugust Discord channel as well as engaging in the overall gathering of the vibes, while those who like reading thoughts in blog format can enjoy having a whole lot of blogs to read for the next month. Everybody wins! (Except people who try to produce content via AI which is not, in fact, content. They’re not welcome. We shouldn’t need to say this, but you know, just in case.)
