This past Friday was a challenging one for fans and especially for the IT devs of Throne and Liberty, as the MMORPG was knocked offline for nearly a full 12 hours as a result of some server goblins running amok.

The problems were first reported early that morning after maintenance for the latest patch was completed (which was also extended for a time), and while Amazon had identified the problem, the servers were still in maintenance mode well into the afternoon, causing the archboss timing to be upended and maintenance to reach out into the evening.

The game servers came back online just after 6:00 p.m. EDT, though they did so with crafting disabled for a pair of specific high-tier items and no ETA on when they’ll be available to cobble together. In the meantime, fans who endured the downtime are getting a bundle of currencies and upgrade materials as compensation, and archboss openings will be rescheduled for a later time.
