DECA Games, the new stewards for Star Trek Online and other Cryptic Games MMORPGs after Embracer effectively dissolved the studio last year, hasn’t been what we’d call terribly communicative. The company didn’t actually reach out to fans of the games it had taken over until its statement last February, the forums for all of its MMOs were shuttered in favor of Discord, and beyond February’s Unveiled and a fiddling with the endeavor system, the game itself has chiefly focused on event reruns and sales.

Ideally, info-starved fans of STO will get some water at long last, as DECA Games announced on Discord that it plans to bring back Ten Forward Weekly livestreams starting tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 p.m. EDT. The broadcast promises to “properly introduce DECA and the new STO team,” introduce fans to the MMO’s new leadership, and convey future plans for the game. Basically, this appears to be the “introduction stream” that DECA promised all of those months ago.

Fans who are interested in hearing something – anything – from DECA will want to head to its Twitch channel at the appointed time and date. Naturally we’ll make sure to cover what’s been discussed; fingers crossed that it’s something of substance.
