Stargazer part 2 has arrived to MapleStory as of the wee hours of this morning – and yes, this is the one that includes the collab with hugely popular indie game Dave the Diver. DTD is weird fun: It’s a single-player pixel game where you dive, fish, and restaurant your way through the storyline while running a sushi shop on the side. If you haven’t heard of it, I’ll be shocked, since this game has done a lot of collabs – including with Balatro.

“The second part of NEXON’s Global MapleStory’s summer update, Stargazer, is now live bringing the deep-sea world of DAVE THE DIVER to the shores of Maple World with the MapleStory x DAVE THE DIVER collaboration,” Nexon says. “Featuring immersive mini-games and exclusive event systems, this collaboration delivers a fully integrated and rewarding experience for fans of both titles.

Those minigames include missions to unlock more sushi recipes, find new undersea critters, explore underwater, and serve at the rushi shop – honestly, it’s not just some cosmetics slapped in. It’s actual content. And the rest of the patch also continues the Ride or Die event and introduces two more HEXA mastery nodes.

Do note that you don’t have forever to take part in the collab; the Dave the Diver minigames are live through September 23rd, but the rewards and progression end on August 26th. Get diving.
