WoW Classic’s 20th Anniversary realms are zipping along through the now-established phases, outpacing the original 2019 progression server roughly 30% faster. This means that the “Classic Classic” servers now entered Phase 5, just a couple months after they unlocked Phase 4’s Zul’Gurub.

Phase 5 attempts to replicate one of vanilla World of Warcraft’s most famous events, the Gates of Ahn’Qiraj war effort, which is happening over the next two-plus weeks and will culminate in a 10-hour factional war in Silithus.

After that, the two big raids unlock: 20-player Ruins of Ahn’Qiraj and the 40-player Temple of Ahn’Qiraj. This time around, Blizzard added two new class armor sets that drop from bosses.
