If you feel the need to look particularly anime, Blue Protocol Star Resonance has you covered with its character creator. A new video on the game’s Twitter account shows off tastes of the character creation engine, which offers a variety of body types, sliders, and color options so you can be sure to create exactly the sort of anime-style avatar you’d like to run around the world in.

Fans who downloaded the original Blue Protocol’s benchmark prior to that title’s launch will no doubt note some similarities in the character creation, which is hardly surprising since the game is built off the old one. We still don’t know when the game will make it stateside, but it is being promised for 2025, with the Chinese launch scheduled for July 17th (so very, very soon). But rest assured that if you need to make your anime character, your ship (presumably named Ship-Kun) is coming in soon.
