We appreciate that news about PvP balance tweaks is a bit like “water is wet” news ’round these parts, but for those deep into Once Human’s open test for its RaidZone PvP server or those waiting until its July 30th full launch, the fact that knobs are being turned is likely important to keep track of.
Tweaks that are incoming include the end of character flight while in construction mode, which was being used to provide recon; applying several nerfs to the summonable Manibus like lowered damage and higher costs to summon it; the addition of friendly fire in order to limit zerging; and smoother access to weapon attachments. NetEase’s Starry Studio is also tightening up its anti-cheat because some players just cannot help but be unfair gremlins even in a PTS version of an unreleased PvP mode.
Meanwhile the Dreamveil update that was released earlier this month continues to get bug fixes that address problems with animal material output, overexposed character skin (presumably this is about glowing people and not pantslessness), weather effects in the Endless Dream scenario, and many more.
