The summertime season will be well and truly underway in Throne and Liberty thanks to the upcoming Summer Splash event arriving on Thursday, July 24th, with special items and buffs, goblin murder, and team vs. team battle between fluffy little stuffies. This is apparently how the season is celebrated in Solisium.

That’s right, one of the activities awaiting players is the Splash Bash, a 6v6 arena battle where players take up the forms of either tank, healing, or DPS-minded amitoi to brawl it out in the thematically appropriate Soggy Sandcastle battleground. Those who partake in this cuddly brawl every week will get event coins, with more such currency awarded the more games are played to a maximum of 10.

For the PvE-minded among us, there will be tidebully goblins to take out on the beach that will apparently try to blend in by wearing swim rings, apparently. Taking out these not-very-stealthy foes will also award event currency as well as materials, a profile frame, and a unique morph.

As for those coins, they can be spent on additional summertime goodies like growth stones, trait unlock stones, even more morphs including a llama morph (who wouldn’t want to be a llama during the summertime), and materials needed in order to craft event-specific dishes. There’s also plenty of summertime fishing, a special buff granted from a beachgoing giangrite, login rewards, and an event pass. The festivities run from July 24th through August 13th, so be ready for a truly Solisium beach party.
