Gone are the days when New World players would jokingly refer to this event as the Smedleyfaire, but the Summer Medleyfaire is indeed returning later this month for a large part of the summer indeed and also deep into the fall.

Running July 29th to October 28th, the event invites players to perform using the game’s nifty music system, alone or with bandmates, as well as go fishing in Aeternum’s rivers and lakes using event bait at hot spots.

Generally these events include special cosmetics and decor, but in its teaser blog, Amazon hasn’t fully clarified what is coming that’s new – only that it does indeed have some new rewards queued up. “The 2025 token shop features all-new items alongside returning favorites, giving newcomers and veterans alike plenty to discover,” the studio says.
